Alga Grow If I grow Alga Grow, should my nutrient solutions pH or EC adjusted? You don't need to adjust the pH or EC values of nutrient solutions when using our 100% NATURAL soils. Alga Grow's nutrient solution has an odd smell or looks cloudy. Is this a problem? This is perfectly normal and not dangerous for your plants.
