Champagne Prestige des Sacres Prestige Brut

Prestige des Sacres is a renowned Champagne cooperative established by a group of winegrowers from Janvry under the leadership of René Lamblot. Today, the cooperative comprises 60 winegrowers and over 110 hectares of vineyards situated on the western slopes of the Montagne de Reims. Prestige Brut is an equal-parts blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, the traditional Champagne grape varieties. The cuvée is crafted by adding 40% reserve wine to the vintage base wine. Following vinification, the wine ages on the lees for four years before disgorgement, and then rests for another six months before release. The result is a round, balanced wine featuring a pale golden hue and an elegant, persistent perlage. The nose reveals a broad, layered aromatic profile with initial notes of white fruit, ripe citrus, and dried fruit, alongside hints of sweet spices. On the palate, it is round, fresh, and well-structured, offering a creamy mouthfeel and well-balanced acidity. It is fruity, rich, and smooth, with a long, juicy finish. It is versatile when it comes to food pairing: excellent on its own as an aperitif, it also pairs perfectly with seafood, vegetarian appetizers, vegetable tempura, quiche, and cured meats such as Italian mortadella.
